Why DNA?
His signature is woven into the very fabric of who we are.
The name D.N.A. began with a revelation that quietly changed everything. Within the structure of human DNA, there is a numerical sequence woven into its design: 10 — 5 — 6 — 5. This pattern repeats without deviation across the entire human genome.
In Hebrew gematria — the ancient system of assigning numerical value to letters — 10 is Yod (י), 5 is He (ה), 6 is Vav (ו), and 5 is He (ה) again. Together they spell יהוה — YHWH. The sacred Name.
His signature is woven into the very fabric of who we are.
That revelation quietly shaped the identity and calling behind this ministry. The desire has always been simple: to carry the heart and nature of YHWH in everything — through the songs written, the words sung, the lives lived. D.N.A. is not only about Daniel and Annabel. It is about His DNA in all of us.
We chose a name that honours that conviction: we are made to bear His signature. It is a calling to reflect His character in our devotion, our nearness to Him, and our adoration — not only in the music we make, but in the lives we live.
The 10–5–6–5 Sequence

2025 marked a significant turning point. After three decades of full-time ministry, Annabel stepped away from the familiar rhythm of constant service and leadership — and slowed down. Together, Daniel and Annabel took time to rediscover God, worship, and their inner life with Him. They reflected. They worshipped. They wrote. And in that quiet space, something beautiful happened: He gave them a song to sing again.
What followed was a year of pouring themselves fully into the work — from lyrics and melodies, to arrangements and rehearsals, to a live studio recording, post-production, mixing, artwork and lyric videos. For the first time, they carried much of it independently and hands-on. It stretched them deeply. But it also reminded them of the reason they do what they do in the first place.
Treasure is the result. Eight songs. A live studio recording. Friends from across the church gathered in one room. These songs carry their story — but more than that, they carry His faithfulness. Through valleys and mountaintops. Through marriage and health challenges. Through the COVID season. Through years of serving in local churches, ministries, and missions across Asia and beyond. This is not merely a project. It is a thanksgiving.
This ministry is carried by gifts and hands — those who give, those who pray, those who carry these songs into their own rooms.
